For Manitowoc Foodservice, embracing "green" means that not only do we incorporate "green" into our manufacturing processes and technologies, but also into our everyday business practices. We ask the same of our business partners. We encourage our suppliers to find eco-friendly shipping alternatives, label all recyclable products, conserve water and energy, and reduce air emissions and solid waste.

The pallet system used to ship heavy foodservice equipment is constructed with componenets such as wood, that can be recycled or are made of recycled products. To our own packaging, we have added recycling instruction, complete with symbols, so there is no doubt as to what part of the packaging can be recycled.

In addition, whenever print communication is necessary, Manitowoc has committed to using Forest Stewardship Council (FSG) certified papers. The FSC symbol is a quick way to know that the paper that has been chosen has been produced responsibly.
