Kolpak and Manitowoc Ice Win “Best in Class” Survey for the Eighth Year in a Row!
For the eighth straight year, FE&S has conducted the Best in Class Study. Magazine staff analyzed over 1,000 surveys completed by their subscribers. The results uncovered companies that have earned a reputation for being the “best of the best”. This year, as in the past seven years, both Manitowoc Ice and Kolpak were recognized as leaders in their respective categories. Manitowoc Ice was voted “Overall Best in Class” in the ice machine category and Kolpak was voted “Overall Best in Class” for walk-in refrigeration. According to the respondents, this vote represented a clear indication that product quality, and service and support are the attributes consultants and suppliers value most from equipment and service manufacturers. |
When a foodservice consultant or dealer recommends a product to an operator, they place their reputation on the line. They also trust that the manufacturer will be supportive long after the sale. More importantly, they need to feel the manufacturer is committed to the business relationship long after the product has left the showroom. As for the operator, they need to feel that the equipment they purchased will meet their needs and ultimately the needs of their customer. Getting things right for everyone involved is no small feat and Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) magazine acknowledges this accomplishment.
