MANITOWOC at the 2006 Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai

The 2006 Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai just finished. Manitowoc Foodservice International, Lyon France presented for the first time with a state of the art exhibition booth of 66 sqmeters presenting Manitowoc Ice Machines, the new Countertop Ice and Water Dispenser, the Hotel Dispensers as well as Manitowoc Postmix Beverage Equipment.

The investment to present at Gulfood, build an exhibition stand with all its marketing expenses as well as transportation; duty; distributor support; entertainment and pre-organisational efforts (big thanks to Caroline Coursol in the Lyon base!) is quite substantial. But worth it! The quality and quantity of visitors attending the Manitowoc exhibition stand was outstanding and reflected the need of ICE and BEVERAGE for the upcoming project investments on the hotel business. It also demonstrated a strong potential for general market unit sales.

Mifetah Reguiga, our Sales Director for the Middle East Region stated a high satisfaction level with the amount of references Manitowoc holds in Dubai, such as the 7* Hotel Burj Al Arab, the 5* Jumeirah Beach, McDonalds Emirates, Burger King Emirates and many others. Mr. Reguiga said after talking to our local distributor Al Arabia: “we were informed just now that Manitowoc has secured the Raffles Hotel Project and are very proud of it”.

With our distributor, FEM : Hotelympia, the European Exhibition for Foodservice and Hospitality

The Hotelympia trade exhibition took place in London from February 19 to 23 in the new exhibition and conference center, ExCeL London.

During its previous edition, Hotelympia , an event held every two years in London, attracted more than 45,000 visitors, including sector experts, buyers, and suppliers. This year, our distributor, FEM, brilliantly presented our line of Manitowoc ice machines.

From March 3 to 8 , the Internorga fair opened its doors in Hamburg, Germany, for its 80th edition. Our distributor, HIBU, joined other professionals at this annual trade show to promote our line of Manitowoc ice machines on an international scale, and did so with success.
